Bloom True: The e-course...

Back in February I was lucky enough to join Flora Bowley's first Bloom True e-course. The five weeks was shared with so many wonderful, encouraging souls and is difficult to put into words but I will just say that if you have the chance to sign up: DO!

Layer by layer was added to each canvas, each unraveling, releasing and revealing a me that was a little more 'true'. This painting went through many phases and transformations before becoming what it is (as did I!)...and  it is a great reminder to me now whenever I feel myself getting stuck to remember that - as Flora would often encourage - there are no mistakes and every mark on the canvas is supposed to be there...you can always let go of it to make room for something that you love!

This painting really is about the process of looking toward the inside, of listening to the inner self, releasing fears and growing outward into life more freely and bravely. This painting marked a step forward for me... of being able to let go and step into the unknown more bravely...
